Soviet Denim is an instantly recognisable brand on the South African fashion scene. They supply jeans, clothing, shoes and accessories for ladies, men, and kids.
Soviet has been on the scene for 30 years now. As with any brand that’s been around for that long, we saw the need for a bit of brand revitalisation in order to reach a larger market.

We were tasked with designing the website for Soviet Denim, as well as social media campaigns, and a brand strategy.
Our favourite Soviet campaign was “Real People, Real Denim”. For years Soviet’s payoff line had been the same. We launched a new payoff line for the brand, which is still in use after the campaign was over – Real People, Real Denim.

We are also proud to have devised the A Burst Of Colour campaign, in partnership with the Miss South Africa 2016 contestants.

To launch their new product line – Jolt Jeans – we created a campaign that captured the essence of the super stretch denim product. Because Jolt Jeans look great from any angle, we promoted the product by giving away free selfie sticks with every purchase of Jolt Jeans so that buyers could capture themselves from any angle.
